"Adam's Journey"

Adam was the seventh child of eight born to Edmond and Gertrude Doyle in Muskogee on January 12, 1918. Adam would meet and marry Emma Mae Parker on August 11, 1941. To this union, fourteen children were born. Adam proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army on April 18, 1942 until his honorable discharge on November 10, 1945. He served as a machine gunner in an infantry company in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations. He received decorations and citations, such as AP Theater Ribbons, three Bronze Service stars, World War II Victory Ribbons and an American Theater Ribbon. He fought in battle in North Solomon and New Guinea. Adam was honorably discharged from service at Camp Chaffee in Arkansas and resumed his private life.

Adam went home to be with the Lord early Tuesday Morning, February 8, 2011 in his home. His siblings, his wife, and one son preceded him in death. Remaining to cherish his precious memories: his children: Bernadene Scott, Adam C. Doyle (Glady), George Doyle (Peggy), Barthel Stewart (Ronnie), Lauren Doyle, David Doyle (Kay), Darrell Doyle, Nedra Doyle, Arnita Cephus (Mike), Juanita Bedford (Charles), Paula Wilson, all of Tulsa, OK., Sharon Kay Wells, Orange, NJ., Vanessa Doyle, Oklahoma City, OK., and Paul Doyle (Pinky), Oklahoma City, OK., 67 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 32 great-great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Adam Doyle will be Tuesday February 15, 2011 at 10AM at Covenant Family Church in Tulsa. Friends may visit Mr. Doyle as he peacefully rests on Monday from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa. His interment will follow at 1PM at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery with a special Military Salute performed by the United States Army Honor Guard.
