Alan Ray McNeal, after 64 years, surrendered to the Lord and received his wings on Friday, June 30, 2023, with his loving family near his side.
He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on April 19, 1959, to Betty Jo McNeal and Johnell McQueen.
Ray had the biggest smile that would brighten your day even if you were having a bad day. Ray attended Muskogee public schools, graduating from Muskogee High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma, in 1977. After his graduation, Ray went on to work for Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) where he retired after 33 years of service. Ray had a passion for old school cars and trucks; however, his biggest passion was raising horses and attending the rodeos in his earlier years.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Betty Jo McNeal-Teague; grandmother, Cleo Hill; son, Cornelius Swift; and sister, Gayla McQueen.

Alicia Moore (Michael) of Wichita, KS; brothers, Tommy Dunn, Ronald Sneed (Deborah) of Wichita, KS, Sean McQueen of Wichita, KS, and John Charles McQueen of Oklahoma City, OK; father, Johnell McQueen of Wichita, KS; only living aunt, Vanessa Reardon (Robert) of Chicago, IL; and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
The Final Tribute for Mr. McNeal will commence on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 1:00PM in The People's Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors,Inc.,- Muskogee.
You may visit Mr. McNeal, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home in Muskogee on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 between the hours of 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee.
