Obituary

Alfred T. Biglow, in his 89th year with us, passed from this life and joined his Ancestors in Heaven on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from his home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, with his family surrounding him with love.
Alfred was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on October 26, 1932, the son of Robert Lee and Mary V. [Smith] Biglow.  He grew up in Okmulgee, where he attended the public school system, graduating from Historic Dunbar High School.
Mr. Biglow was drafted into the United States Army, where he served his country honorably.  He served from January 26, 1953 until January 25, 1955.
After his service, he attended Community College in Chicago, Illinois before gaining employment with the Chicago Transit Authority for many years.  Later in life, returned to Okmulgee.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 273 and was also a member of Northwest Chapel Baptist Church.  He worked for the transportation department for Okmulgee Public Schools before his retirement.
Alfred married his high school sweetheart, Bernice Williams Reagan on July 3, 1996 and they enjoyed their senior years together. He was full of life and laughter, and there was rarely a dull moment when he was involved.
Mr. Biglow was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Milton and Hilton Biglow, Arthur Biglow, Robert Elmer Biglow, Maxine Austin, Carrie Mae Lewis and Alice Biglow.
He leaves in God's care;  his loving wife, Bernice Biglow, of the home in Okmulgee;  his daughters, Denise [Teri] Youngman, Barbara Biglow and Wendy [Malcom] White;  his sons, Alfred [Tonya] Biglow, Michael [Jearlean] Reagan, carl Richard Reagan, Dwight [Rita Andrews] Reagan, Steven [Bridgette] Reagan and Rodney Reagan;  24 grandchildren;  36 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Lois Wilson, Erma Dean and Joyce [Michael] Byers; along with a caravan of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A sunset Graveside ceremony will be shared on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM in the Okmulgee Cemetery.  Reverend Leroy Crawford, Sr., Pastor of Northwest Chapel Baptist Church will officiate.

The family will gather at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM and the funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 3:30 PM.

You may visit Mr. Biglow on Friday from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
