Alice "Theresa" Johnson (born Wilson) died so very unexpectedly and peacefully in her home on December 12, 2019 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the young age of 73.

Theresa was born on February 17, 1946 in Okmulgee, OK to Cecelia and Sandow Wilson. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1963. She married Leon Johnson, the great love of her life in 1964. After moving to California, Theresa began working for United States Postal Service of the Airport Terminal as a Mail Clerk. After several years together, the couple welcomed 2 beautiful children into their home, Rhonda and Marlon Johnson. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle,and patient mother who encouraged them to be the best that they could be.

She was a generous and dedicated individual who loved reading and traveling and who was passionate about shopping. She was an active and dedicated member of Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church and was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary .

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 on December 21, 2019 at Uganda Martyrs, with a reception to follow at the church hall. Father Joshua Litwick will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Theresa's life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Cecelia and Sandow Wilson, her mother and father in-law Roy and Ora Lee Johnson, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Theresa is survived by her beloved husband Leon Johnson of the home, daughter Rhonda Johnson, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Marlon Johnson Sr of Cushing, Oklahoma; she has two loving grandsons, Marlon Johnson, Jr., of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Marquelon Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; one great-grandson, Kylon King; She is leaving two sisters Florice Thompson, of Okmulgee,Oklahoma and Bernice Ashley of Schulter, Oklahoma; one brother, Leon Wilson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Also, a host of nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly.
