Mr. Allen Gilton, Jr. Our beloved brother, father and friend passed away on February 4, 2025.  He was a giver and loved to see others happy.

Allen was born on October 28, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Allen Gilton, Sr. and Bonita Lawson Gilton.  He attended McClain High School and graduated with the class of 1982.

He moved to Tampa, Florida in 1989. Where he spent many years working in the food industry and Palma Celia Country Club.

Allen loved football and his favorite team was The Oklahoma Sooners. He had a love for fishing, shopping and cooking and spent many days grilling.  During the springtime you would find him planting and gardening.

Allen was proceeded in death by his mother Bonita Gilton, father Allen Gilton Sr; sisters, Sabrina Cowans and Juanita Barnes.

Those remaining to cherish his life's memory are his children Denise Gilton, Allen Gilton III, and Alicia Gilton, three grandchildren Decoreieon, Harmony and Alores, sisters Diane Cowans and Carol Cowans, brothers David Jones and Eric Cowans, an aunt Elfreda Padgett as well as a host of other family friends.

Memorial Services will be Saturday February 22, 2025 at 11AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel.

Floral Arrangements will be accepted Friday February 21, 2025 from 10AM until 5PM in The Tulsa Chapel.
