Obituary

With heavy hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Allicia “Nikki” Nichole Hood, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and extraordinarily creative soul who passed away on August 24,2026. Although her time with us was far too short, Allicia filled her life with love, laughter, creativity, faith, and a genuine desire to bring joy to others.

Allicia was a storyteller at heart. From an early age, her imagination was always at work, and throughout her life she found countless ways to share that gift. She was a talented writer, actress, director, producer, musician, and creator whose passion for the arts became an important part of Tulsa’s creative community.

As the visionary behind G-Rated Theater, Allicia did much more than put on productions—she created a place where people felt welcomed, valued, and believed in. Through works such as “A Christian Carol,” “Mixed Messages,” “Rumor Has It,” and many others, she gave performers opportunities to discover their gifts and find confidence in themselves. For many, G-Rated wasn’t simply a theater group; it became a family. Allicia had a beautiful way of seeing something special in people, sometimes before they could see it in themselves.

Away from the stage, She loved cooking, and the kitchen was another place where her creativity and heart could shine. She enjoyed music, loved animals deeply, and treasured the people in her life. Whether she was creating a new story, preparing a meal, making music, sharing a laugh, or encouraging someone who needed to hear that they could do more, Allicia gave a piece of herself to those around her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving parents, Dennis Sr. and Allice Hood; her sister, Tiffany Wabuyabo and her husband, Nicholas Wabuyabo; her brother, Dennis Jr. and his wife, Chrissy Hood; her beloved partner Torores Lee and her precious nieces and nephews, Isaiah Hood, Isabella Hood, Zion Carroll, Zaine Carroll, Zahra Carroll and Zayla Hearn. She also leaves a circle of extended family, dear friends, fellow artists, and her beloved G-Rated family who will forever carry memories of her in their hearts.

Allicia will be remembered not simply for everything she accomplished, but for how she made people feel. She encouraged. She welcomed. She believed. She dreamed. She loved. And she gave others permission to dream right alongside her.

There will be an emptiness where her laughter once filled the room, but there will also be countless beautiful reminders. The stories she wrote, the music she loved, the meals she prepared, the stages she brought to life, the friendships she created, and most importantly, the people who are better because Allicia was part of their lives.

Her final curtain may have fallen, but her story is not over. It continues in every person she loved, every artist she encouraged, every memory that brings a smile through the tears, and every life she touched along the way.

Rest peacefully, Allicia “Nikki” Nichole Hood. You were deeply loved, you will be deeply missed, and the beautiful light you shared with this world will never be forgotten.
