On November 23, 1925,God blessed Robert Sr. and Heniretta Mackey to welcome a beautiful baby daughter into the family circle. The third of twelve siblings born to this loving union, she became affectionately known as "Nene." Alneeta grew up in the Taft ,Oklahoma area where she attended
Sugar Creek Elementary. After her parents moved to Beland, Oklahoma, she continued her education
at McSwain School, Beland and Moton High School, Taft, Oklahoma.

Accepting Christ at an early age, Alneeta joined Saint James Baptist Church in Beland where she was baptized. The family moved to Muskogee in 1964. Soon after, Alneeta moved to Tulsa to live and to work. Following her retirement ,she chose to return to Muskogee where she joined Dean's Chapel Baptist Church under the pastorage of Reverend Don Dumas. She attended faithfully until her health begin to fail. She found great pleasure in serving in her Mission Circle, "The Everloyal Circle," and also serving as a member of the Kitchen Ministry. Nene loved her pastor, love his preaching and teaching and loved his singing. Her favorite song he would often sing was "The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow."

Although she never married or had children, she was a mother to all, especially to her nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and took care of as if they were her own children.

The morning curtains were drawn Monday, May 9, 2016. She leave to cherish her memory three sisters, Evelyn Jackson,Topeka, Kansas; Eunice Nunley and Joyce Wardlow(Curtis) Muskogee, OK; two brothers, James Mackey, Topeka, Kansas, Willie Mackey(Marcene), Tulsa, OK; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
