Obituary
Mr. Alonzo "Lonnie" Fields, after 62 years, dozed from life to everlasting on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from his home in Okmulgee.
Born in Okmulgee, he was the son of Thomas Fields, Sr., and Mattie Mae Poole. He grew up in Okmulgee and attended Okmulgee Public Schools at Dunbar High.
He served his country honorably in the United States Marines and worked as a Stockman for Warehouse Market.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Kimberly Fields, of the home; 2 sons, Dakota Ivy and Alonzo Fields, Jr., both of Okmulgee; his brothers, Thomas Fields, Jr., Mark Poole and Melvin Poole, all of Okmulgee; his sisters, Lucinda Fields and Jeanette Smith, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Ceremony will be shared on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson.
You may visit "Lonnie" as he slumbers at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 6 PM.
