On September 28, 1962, Alphonso Pitts was born to Annida Pitts-Spencer and Palmer Smith in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended school in the Tulsa Public School System, graduating from East Central High School with the Class of 1980. Alphonso began attending college at Brown Mackie College in Tulsa in 2014 and majored in business. He was a faithful member at World Outreach Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Alphonso was preceded in death by: his father, Palmer Smith; brother, Nathaniel Pitts; uncles, John Pitts, Homer Pitts, and Albert Lewis Pitts; mother-in-law, Rose Mae Neal; brothers-in-law, Leo James Neal, and Leon James Goudeau; and niece, Essie Louise Perryman-Morgan.

Mr. Alphonso Pitts, in his 58th Season Transitioned to Eternal Rest on the Morning of Wednesday August 4, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In his departure, Alphonso leaves to celebrate his life a large and loving family: wife, Beatrice Goudeau-Pitts; children, Bridgett and Apollonia Goudeau-Pitts; mother, Annida Pitts-Spencer; siblings, Malcom, Lillian, Regina, James, and Melvin Pitts, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Abryonna and Jamiko Mathies, Devon Jordan, Kevin and Vanity Taylor, Carli and Onna Ruff; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be Saturday August 14, 2021 at 2PM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.

Visitation will be Friday from 1PM until 6PM in Tulsa.
