IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alvah
Pierce
February 28, 1953 – May 11, 2017
My story as written………
On February 28, 1953 a baby girl entered this world as a blessing to Williard and Eddie Mae Pierce and they named her Alvah, at which time she began to fill the pages of her book known as life.
Alvah grew up in Okmulgee where she attended Okmulgee Public Schools. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. At the time of her departure she was a member of Greater New Faith Ministries.
Alvah was a hard worker. She moved to Tulsa to receive training and certifications to be able to do what she was compassionate about and that was working with those with special needs. She definitely was a people person; she was very outgoing and loved her quality time with family, especially her grandchildren.
On Thursday, May 11, 2017 Alvah's last chapter of her book of life was completed. God ever so gently whispered to her come on home daughter and she obeyed his command. She became a flower in his "Garden of Life."
She was preceded in death by her parents Williard and Eddie Mae Pierce, Sisters Lessie Mae Johnson and Willie Mae Joyner, brothers Williard Henry Pierce and Rodney R. Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory; sons Gary D. Pierce(Rashandra), Michael A. Littlejohn(Nicki), and daughter Nateshia R. Delonia all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Three sisters Mary Ann Jefferson (Robert) of Okmulgee, OK. Gina Brinkley and Angela McKnight (Kenneth) all of Tulsa OK. Six brothers; Walter Pierce(Nita) of Oklahoma City, OK, James Pierce(Norma) of Okmulgee, OK., Jerry Pierce(Joyce) of Ft. Worth, TX., Donald Johnson and Alfonso Pierce both of Tulsa, OK., Kenneth Pierce of Washington, DC along with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
