Mr. Alvin E. Cole, after 69 years with us, left this life for a life eternal on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.

On November 22, 1947, a baby boy was born to Joseph and Carrie Cole.  They named him Alvin Eugene Cole.  Better known as "Beau" to his family, as he grew up, Alvin confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.  He attended church and received his education at Hope Lutheran Church.

On April 14, 1969, Alvin married the love of his life, Ruby Jean Sallis and together, they built a marriage that celebrated 48 years.  From their union, three children were born;  Tracy, Gary and Rodney.

Beau worked hard to provide for his family at Owens-Brockway Glass for 38 years, until his retirement in 2007.  He could build anything and enjoyed gaining knowledge on any given subject.  He adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them.  He leaves a legacy of integrity and dedication to those who knew him.

Beau made his journey to Heaven on Saturday, January 21, 2017 after a short illness.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.  He leaves to treasure his memory;  his devoted wife, Ruby;  his sister, Christine Craig and brother, Andrew Kelley;  his children, Tracy [Sharica], Gary [Anjie] and Rodney [Minerva];  he is survived by a daughter, Denise [Benjamin] Malava Castellan, and a son, Alvin Cole, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Elnora Goald, Kathleen Johnson, Edna Bryant and Linda West; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Hour of Remembrance will commence on Saturday morning, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the most Holy sanctuary of the Timothy Baptist Church.  Pastor Kelly Payne is the gracious host Pastor and Reverend Walter Brown, Jr.,`will deliver the Eulogy.  Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
