In the early spring of March 6, 1980, a beautiful baby girl was born to Carol (Hall) Elledge and Johnny Diamond. They named her Amie Delane Diamond.
Amie loved baseball in her childhood years, and always loved running around with her brother and many cousins. Amie attended and graduated from Muskogee Public Schools, where she was a member of the Muskogee High School Band.
Later in life, Amie met and married Eddie Ray Maxwell, and they had two children, Mckenzie, Eddie Ray Jr. and a bonus son Keonte.
Amie worked in the healthcare industry for most of her adult life, helping to take care She was currently employed with the Jack C. Montgomery VAMC as a Sterile Processor. Amie met a lot of people working at the Veterans Hospital, and they greatly influenced her further while on the job.
In 2021, the birth of her granddaughter Bry Leah helped to guide her on her path back to God, Amie turned her life around where she continued to help others immensely and guide them as well. Amie made the ultimate decision to dedicate her life to Christ at Jubilee Christian Center. During her free time, Amie could be found with her granddaughter, friends and family having fun enjoying life and helping others.
Those who preceded her in death are: Grandparents Earl and Mildred Hill, Father Johnny Diamond; Brother Shawn Diamond; Uncle Ronnie Hall; Uncle Larry Hall and her children's father Eddie Ray Maxwell.
Ms. Amie Delane Maxwell, in her 45th year, passed from this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, McKenzie Maxwell of Muskogee, Ok; her two sons, Eddie Ray Maxwell Jr., of Berkeley, California and Keonte Arnett of El Paso, Tx; her precious granddaughter Bry Leah Maxwell of Muskogee, Ok; her mother Carol (Sheldon) Elledge of Muskogee, Ok; her brothers Sheldon Elledge of Louisiana and Zach Diamond of Oklahoma; her special cousins Steven (Janelle) Cagle of Muskogee, Ok, Dalton (Madison) Clay of Oktaha, Ok and Kimberly Clay of Oktaha, Ok; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and
The Sacred Farewell for Amie will commence on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Eleventh Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Jubilee Christian Center with Pastor Jordan Howard officiating.
You may visit Ms. Maxwell, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee on Sunday, between the hours of 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
