Obituary

On July 18, 1944, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, a baby girl was born to Reeder Thompson Walker and Manuel Barnes. They named her Anita Louise.

Anita would begin her next phase of life when she met and married Nesbitt McKinley Caraway. This new union was the foundation of Hope, Aspiration, Joy and Sorrow.

As God loves to give out blessings, to this union, they received three amazing sons. After the death of her first love, God blessed her with another son. Later, she met and married James Smith.

Her beloved Mother mad sure that she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and she was baptized in the name of Jesus.

On March 1, 2016, Anita entered the last phase of her journey. She was preceded in death by her Father, Manuel Barnes, her step-father, Louie Walker, Sr., her brothers, Broyce and Ryder and her sister,, Lillie Mae.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her four sons, Deaundrey, Nesbett, Justin and James; her mother, Reeder Walker; her sister, Mae Lois; her brothers, Henry [Mickey], James, Robert [Thelma], John [Joyce], Jimmy [Valarie], Lonnie and Louie Jr.; and her step-brother, Tony Davenport; along with other relatives and friends who will miss her presence.
