Anita Faye Logan, in her 62nd year, surrendered her soul on Monday, August 16, 2021 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.

On December 29, 1958 a baby girl was born to Juanita Graham and Robert Coleman, they named her Anita Faye.

Anita received her formal education in Muskogee Public schools. She was an overly excitable child and best known for her contagious smile and laugh, so it's no surprise that she was a natural at Cheerleading.

At 19 years old, she married Marcus Logan. To this union a daughter was born named NeMarca Juanita. This marriage was resolved. She went on to further her education at Bacone College, receiving an Associate in Science degree and became a Registered Nurse.

She later gave birth to a son and named him KeAundai D'Aris. Anita enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo which she did every chance she could. Throughout her life, she attended Old Agency Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on the usher board for many years.

Anita is proceeded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, mother, Juanita Graham, father, Robert Coleman and brother, Freddie Graham.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children: NeMarca (Charles) Keys, KeAundai Alexander, three sisters, Vicki Marshall (Calvin), Robyne (Kenneth) Caddy, Marchell (Donald) Cherry and one brother, Darryl (Sekora) Brown, eight grandchildren: Chelsie Keys, Machala Keys, NyAisha Davis, Samuel Davis III, Cadynce Keys, Jayden Torres, Journee & Jaxson Caesar; her close friend, Vi; along with a ost of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

The Hour of Remembrance for Nita will be on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM at The Martin Luther King Center - Muskogee.  Reverend Walter Brown, Jr., will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.

You may visit her on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home in Muskogee.
