On October 2, 1966, Anthony "Tony" Gene Underhill was born to the union of Sherri Lee and Myrl Underhill. He grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma, and attended Checotah public schools.

Tony had a love of racing; throughout the years, he could always be found on the weekends racing at Outlaw Motor Speedwaywhere he was lovingly nicknamed "Hootis." He had a massive amount of love and loyalty for his family and friends. Outside of his love for racing, he would also play disc golf with his friends and family, fly his drones, and go fishing when he wasn't working as a boom operator to provide for his family.

In November of 1991, he met the love of his life, Ada Swartz. Over the years they became surrounded by six loving children, Joshua, Jeremy, Whitney, Kiara, Devon, and Alyssa.

Tony peacefully left this Earth on April 13, 2023, with his loving wife by his side. He was preceded in death by Grandma Golda and Grandpa John Lee; Grandma Charlene and Grandpa Austin; mother, Sherri Lee; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Ada Underhill; children, Joshua, Jeremy, Whitney, Kiara, Devon, and Alyssa; many loving grandchildren; sister, Kim; parents, Teresa and Myrl; as well as many loving relatives and dear friends.

A Graveside Ceremony to reflect upon the life of Anthony, will commence on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at High Noon in the Triplett Cemetery near Eufaula, Oklahoma.
