Mr. Anton Lamarr Nelson, age 18 and a resident of Muskogee "finished Early" on Friday, December 9, 2011 from Muskogee.

Lakeshia Nelson and Anton Robinson shared in the birth of a son on February 9, 1993 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They named their son Anton Lamarr. Anton grew up and spent his life in Muskogee, where he attended school.


Anton was very active during his short time with us. He enjoyed playing basketball and lifting weights, was always eating and skilled on XBOX. He also had interest in custom cars, loved wearing plain T-shirts and Levi's jeans and enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. Anton was a strong young man who was very protective of his family and friends. He was a handsome guy with a smile that would light up a room and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Darius Nelson and other relatives.

He leaves to lament his passing; his mother, Lakeshia Nelson; his father, Anton Robinson; his special father figures, Ronnie Hart, Sr., and Rubin Johnson, Sr.; his grandparents, Alice Nelson, Linda Johnson, Shirley Robinson and Ruth Addison; his brothers, Eddie Nelson,Ronnie Hart, Jr., and Sadirah Harris, all of Baton Rouge, LA, Rubin Johnson, Jr., Deonta Johnson, Kameron Johnson and Devonta Johnson, all of Monroe, LA; a sister in Missouri; his Aunts, Quianna Nelson, Tracy Nelson, Jane Ross, and Anna Ross-Parker, all of Muskogee, and Debbie Nelson, Syracuse, NY; his Uncles, Colby Porter and Jeremey Robinson, both of Muskogee, OK; special cousins, Michael Mayberry, Dondray Fowler and Auguster Parker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The farewell ceremony will be held on Friday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. The Pastor, Reverend Marlon G. Coleman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
