IN LOVING MEMORY OF ANTWAN DELRAY WASHINGTON

(YOUNGBLOOD)

July 25, 1978 – April 27, 2025

Antwan Delray Washington (Youngblood) was born to Forrest Jean Washington (Youngblood) and Ollie (Sleep) Youngblood on July 25, 1978. To this union, he was the youngest of two children.

Antwan was introduced to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

He was a proud graduate of Memorial High School class of 1997. Anyone who knew Antwan a.k.a. Sir King Youngblood knows that he loved his mother dearly. Antwan was a jokester, who also brought laughter and joy into everyone's lives around him. He was loving and kind and loved his family and friends. Antwan was a laborer of many skills where he was known for his strong work ethics, reliability and quiet determination. His efforts reflected a deep sense of responsibility and pride in doing things right.

Antwan was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Pearline Ross; Grandmother, Cora Mae Starnes and Sedlia Youngblood; Grandfather, Dan Westley Johnson; Uncles and Aunts: James Green Jr, Don Warren Payne, Edith Jo Payne, Jasper Youngblood, Minnie Youngblood, Tina Youngblood, and Elaine S. Schoats, First Cousins Verdell Lynn Schoats and Rodney Jerome Payne.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents, Forrest Jean Washington (Youngblood) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ollie Youngblood of Muskogee, Oklahoma. One son, Daquan White of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brothers: Robert Youngblood Washington of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jerry Youngblood (Diane), Tallahassee, Oklahoma; Kenneth Youngblood, Kenneth Brown, and Reginal Lee of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Sister: Ollise Howell; Uncles and Aunts: Verdell Schoats (Mary) of Owasso, Oklahoma; Bennie Burton (Wynona) of Plano, Texas; Shawn Cade of Coweta, Oklahoma; Cordell Johnson (Deborah) of Wichita, Kansas; Jaqueline Sherrard-Payne (the late Don Payne) of Oklahoma City, L.C. Youngblood (Joann) of Tallahassee, Oklahoma; Billy Youngblood of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Peggy Youngblood of Arkansas as well as a host of  relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Services for Mr. Antwan Washington will be Saturday May 10, 2025 at 10AM at Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church - Tulsa.

Interment will follow at Booker T. Washington Cemetery - Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be Friday May 9, 2025 from 11AM-6PM in The Tulsa Chapel.
