Obituary

Ms. Ardell Laverne Pannell, in her 57th year, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, April 5, 2011 from Morris, Oklahoma.

Ardell Laverne Pannell was born January 17, 1954 to Odell Sr., and Josephine Pannell. Better known as [Bern], she was the 2nd oldest of 14 children.

She received Christ at an early age and maintained her faith as she journeyed through life.

Ardell was employed with the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital for several years before leaving Oklahoma and moving to Dallas, Texas to assist Annabelle Allen, "Auntie," in her spiritual endeavors. While in Dallas, Ardell was employed at the Dallas Morning News for several years. She later found employment with The Home Depot, where she remained for eighteen years.

In 2001, her motherly instincts guided her to Oregon to help her oldest daughter and grandkids. In 2008, she made the move back to Oklahoma to further assist her youngest daughter and grandkids. Since moving back, she was able to enjoy the last few years surrounded by her family. We are all comforted by the fact that she returned "home" to her final resting place.

Ardell was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. her bright smile, warm and generous heart and loving personality will be missed. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
