On August 13, 1957 a bundle of joy was delivered to James McDade, Sr., and Velma Miller in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Their newfound joy was a baby girl, they named Arlene. Arlene went on to graduate from Okmulgee High School with the proud class of 1976. She would work as a Nursing Technician for over 30 years, and relocated to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1998.

Arlene McDade departed THIS life on July 22, 2010 at Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City. Her parents, and one brother, Don McDade preceded her in death. Remaining to cherish her precious memories: her daughter, Brandy McDade, Oklahoma City, OK., five sisters: Pamela Williams, Rhonda Odesola, Renee Maytubby (Bruce), all of Oklahoma City, Deborah Shivers, Okmulgee, OK., and Joyce McDade, Columbus, Ohio, three brothers: James McDade, Clinton, OK., Michael McDade, Stillwater, OK., and Shawn McDade, Oklahoma City, OK., along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services for Arlene McDade will be Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Friday from 10AM-6PM.
