Obituary

Ms. Arnesha L. Luckey, in her 36th season, surrendered her soul on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On April 13, 1974, a beautiful baby girl was born to the union of Arnold and Stella (Davis) Jones. She was lovingly named Arnesha LaGail and affectionately nicknamed "Juicy" by her Dad.

Arnesha was a very smart, caring, and loving young lady possessing many talents - she was definitely a leader rather than a follower who was loved by her family as well as all who knew her. Juicy was known for her outgoing personality, beautiful smile, sense of humor, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Arnesha professed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Old Agency Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. George Palmer. She was most recently attending Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, OK.

Juicy attended Muskogee Public Schools until the family relocated to Wichita, KS, where she graduated from Southeast High School with the Class of 1992. While living in Wichita, she met Dewaun Richardson, Sr. and to this union 2 beautiful children were born: Dewaun, Jr. and DeKeisha. After the dissolution of this union, she united with Eric "Shane" Luckey and they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy: David Robert.

Juicy labored as a Certified Nursing Assistant with various healthcare facilities until she transitioned careers and began working as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service in Tulsa, OK where she remained until her last season.

On Saturday, January 15, 2011, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called her from labor to her reward.

Juicy leaves to cherish her memories 2 Sons: Dewaun, Jr. and David; 1 Daughter, DeKeisha (Kei-Kei); a loving Granddaughter Nikia Elizabeth Richardson all of the home; Father: Arnold Jones of Tulsa, OK; Mother: Stella Childers of Muskogee, OK; 1 Brother Byron Jones, Sr. of Muskogee, OK; 1 Sister: Kimberly Johnson of Amarillo, TX; Special Nieces: Crystal, Mariah, Wylycia, Erica, Joi, and Janilah; Special Nephews: Byron, Jr., Allen, Kailan, Di'Vante, Je'Kei, and Joseph. She also leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends who love and will miss her dearly.

The Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, January 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in Grace Ministries, 800 West Peak Boulevard. Burial will follow in Taft City Cemetery.

You may visit Arnesha, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until 6 PM.
