Obituary

On October 15, 1984, a bundle of joy was born to Marsha E. Jackson Alexander Dansberry and the late Arthur L. Dansberry Sr. They nicknamed him JR. He was the second son to be born to this union. First Baptist Church of Redbird was his place of worship. He had a heart of the world if needed, and he was always willing to help. He attended Porter Public Schools, where he made Honor Roll on several occasions. Later he took up a trade (welding), however his goal in life was first to be a good father. He was very compassionate about his children. JR was an incredible and loving father. His second passion was to become the CEO of a chicken farm. With this goal, he had begun to execute his plan and his business into action. A new business had begun. He began buying, trading, and selling chickens and eggs. His business had begin to blossom shortly before his death. JR was an old-fashioned country boy, with a smile on his face at most times. He was very passionate about other people's needs. JR's heart and actions reflected his faith in God. When he was not seeing about his family, or other people's needs, he enjoyed his hobbies of farming, swimming, fishing, and hunting. JR was also a volunteer firefighter.

He is survived by his mother Marsha E. Jackson Alexander Dansberry. Daughters Shonnea, Aniyah, and Samarah Jean Dansberry, and son Arthur L. Dansberry III (Bokoshe, OK). Daughter Tamia Dansberry (Coweta, OK). Siblings Tameka Adams (Denver, CO), Marlen Dansberry (Redbird, OK), and Reshawd Jackson (Redbird, OK). Great grandmother Beatrice Jackson (Bixby, OK), five nephews, two nieces, many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
