Mr. Arther McNac, Sr., husband of Randy, father of Anthony, Arther Jr., and Prentiss and friend to many, surrendered his soul after 60 years with us on Thursday morning, November 14, 2019 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
My journey began on May 4, 1959 near County Line Road eat of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. I was the 5th child born of seven to the loving union of Hermon and Annie [Blackmon] McNac. I was known to my family members as "Bull," a nickname given to me by my Uncle Lloyd because of my red hair and bad disposition.
At an early age, I was baptized at Four Mile Branch Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor James Loney. I later joined Pilgrim's Faith Ministry, under my cousin, Pastor Walter Brown, Jr. I started my education at Fort Gibson, before my family and I moved to Muskogee in 1969, where my education continued, where I graduated 150th of a class of 250. The Bicentennial year. It was during my junior year of High School, I met the love of my life, Randy Elaine, wanting more out of life as I was preparing for my adulthood, I entered Okmulgee Tech for a degree in Auto Mechanics, I was six months away from having that degree, but I missed home and my Momma's cooking. I came home and entered the work force, where I worked numerous jobs before I landed the one job I enjoyed the most, which was working with my brothers at Tubular Corporation.
I'm going to miss hunting, fishing and watching the games on T.V. with family and friends, laughing about the good ole' days and the good times of me being a cowboy, a calf roper, basketball playing dude. I won a few rodeo events roping, I had a love for animals - breeding, raising and selling pitbulls. I sold American Kennel Association dogs across the United States, sired by McNac's Stormy Pete and I started raising Beagles for hunting.
As my journey in life continued with the love of my life, we became parents to three sons, who changed my world and a different aspect of what life holds as a husband and father. I used to tell my sons when they would act up "Look son, if it was ands and buts, it would b a can of candy and nuts and it would be Christmas every day!" I often would say "Love me and like you" and last but not least, "If everybody was like me, the world would be perfect!"
As I make my transition to Heaven, I hope to see my grandparents, mother, father, sister Carolyn, nephews Darius and Eric, my niece/sister, Angela, my hunting, fishing buddy/brother, Billy Pierce, Jr., and mother and father-in-law.
Those Ii leave to cherish my memories 'til we meet again; my wife of 43 years, Randy Elaine; my three sons, Anthony [Naresha] Sr. Arther [LaKehsha] Jr., and Prentiss [Teara]Sr., all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, Isaiah, Zomaree, Iyesha, Ariel, Annise, Nashuri, Tehlyn, Amaya, Arther III, Anthony Jr., Prentiss Jr., Nikohals and Peyton; my sisters, Vera Scott, Annette McNac and Suprena McNac; my brothers, Ronnie [Marrissa] Sr., of Oktaha, Hermon [Kelly] Jr., Council Hill; my sisters-in-law, Donna Hamilton, Tulsa, Margaret [Michael] Taylor and Shelly [Benjamin] Souri, all of Muskogee; three Uncles, five Aunts, my nieces and nephews I loved as my own; my buddies, Donald "Tojo" McJunkins, Christopher McBride, Dewayne Chatman, David McNac and Vernon Moore; along with a caravan of cousins, friends and associates.
