Barbara Jean (Edwards) Grayson was born November 1, 1937 in Morrilton, Arkansas. Barbara was born to Elvia Johnson of Ft. Smith, AR. and Mitchell Edwards, Sr. of Tulsa, Ok.

She fell asleep in death on April 11, 2025.

She was the oldest of nine children.

She was preceded in death by her Father Mitchell Edwards, Sr., Mother Elvia Vann, Sister, Billie Faye Craig, Brothers, Perey Vann Jr., Michael Edwards and Ricky Edwards, Son, Dwight Clark, and Daughter, Ramona Mathis.

She lived with her Great-grandparents William Switzer and Della Gunnels Switzer who raised her until she was a teenager. She later moved to Ft. Smith, AR. As a young adult she made a home in Tulsa, OK., where she worked at Tulsa Public schools as a custodian and attended Owasso and Sand Springs Beauty College getting a certificate in Cosmetology and Manicuring and Nail Art-istry. She also received a certificate for a Massage Technician in 2011.

Barbara always had room in her heart for love. She loved her family and friends. She had an infectious smile and greeted people with genuine kindness and sincerity. She began learning about the bible at a young age. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Kansas City, MO in the summer of 1989.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her Sisters, Carolyn Edwards-Tulsa, Ok, Bonita Edwards Long-Cleveland, OH, Sundra Vann-Newport, MI; Brother, Mitchell (Dooney) Edwards, Jr, Son Tyrone Dinkins (Dianna)-Jenks, Ok; Nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be Saturday April 19, 2025 - 2PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - 2618 N. Lewis Ave.  Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be Friday April 18, 2025 from 1PM - 6PM in which Floral Arrangements will be accepted.

Ms. Grayson will be laid to rest at Green Acres Memorial Gardens - Skiatook, Oklahoma.
