Mrs. Beatrice O'Guin Jones, after 89 seasons, "dozed from earth to everlasting" on Friday night, October 8, 2010 in Tulsa.
A precious gift from God, Beatrice arrived on June 19, 1921 in Idabel, Oklahoma from the loving union of Henry and Lucy Goodloe. She was the youngest of nine children.

Beatrice met and married Isaac O'Guin and their union was blessed with nine children. After Mr. O'Guin's death, she later married Glasco Jones, who also preceded her in death.
Affectionately referred to as "Mama Bea", she was considered the Mother of Northwest Baptist Church, where she was known for her sense of humor, giving spirit and love of music [and men of the church]. She remained a faithful and active member until she departed this life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Those that wait on the Lord; her nine children, Elvira Washington, Patricia [Andrew] Verner, Ruth Washington, Sandra [Clay] Embry, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Darl [Kathy] O'Guin, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Gary [Denise] O'Guin, McDonough, Georgia, Linda [Fred] Williams, Joyce [Rev.
