Beatrice Nettie Ruth Overstreet was born December 13, 1943 to Clarence and Annie Mae Overstreet in Ofuskee County. Nettie as she was affectionately known, grew up in the Bells Chapel community and attended school at Prairie Spring. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was united in marriage to John Paul Moaning in December of 1963. Nettie was a loving and caring person who loved life and loved fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Nettie was known for caring for her large family. Beatrice departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 9, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband John Paul Moaning of Arbeka, OK, children, Brenda F. Barnett of Bristow, OK, John Quincey Moaning of Houston, TX , Paula Moaning Fortenberry of Tulsa, OK, Shanita Young (Anthony) of Tulsa, OK, Wesley Moaning of Prague, OK, Michelle Loriz (Jason) of Jacksonville, FL, Ruth Bradford (Nathan) of Bristow, and DeMetria Moaning Long (Bryant) of Tulsa, and one son Paul "Decovin" Moaning (deceased); 13 grandchildren, four sisters, one brother and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Mrs. Moaning will be held on Saturday February 13, 2010 at 2PM at the Amos Temple CME Church in Boley, Oklahoma. Interment will immediately follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in Boley. Visitation will be Friday from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa.
