On October 23, 1940 in Hitcha, Oklahoma two precious baby girls was born to Mattie O'Guin and Elijah Traylor. The couple named the twins Bennie Faye White and Minnie Faye White. Bennie accepted Christ at a young age. She attended Northwest Baptist Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She attended Dunbar High School where she graduated with the Class of 1960.
She moved to Tulsa where she had 4 children: Ricky, Valda, Dennis, and Eric. She worked for LSG/Sky Chef for over 20 years as a cook before retiring from LSG/Sky Chef. Bennie Faye moved to Oklahoma City in 2001 to help raise her grandchildren. Bennie was a strong and very outspoken truthful woman. She was a great mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
On February 10, 2015 Bennie Faye White left a lifetime of precious memories to be cherished by her loving family. Her parents Mattie and Elisha Traylor, sister Dorothy Hill, brothers Henry Traylor, and Joe White, daughter Rolanda Bell, and grandson William Taylor, Sr. preceded her in death. Those remaining to cherish her memories; siblings: Winnie Anderson, Robert Taylor, children: Ricky (Fe San Antonio), White Valda, White Denice Williams, and Eric White, grandchildren: Melvin Walker, Darrell (Shalysa) Coleman, Sandy (Katie) Whtie, Rickshia White, Erica Bell, Eric (Tyeashia) Bell, Elisha William, Emaun Bell, great-grandchildren: Montriel, Ania, Ariell, William, Jr., Serenity, Azarie, Kayden, and Azayla.
Services for Ms. Bennie Faye White will be Monday February 16, 2015 at 1PM at Northwest Chapel Baptist Church in Okmulgee.
Friends may visit Ms. White on Sunday from 3PM until 6PM in Okmulgee.
