Mr. Benny L. Mayfield, in his 53rd year, left this life on Sunday morning, July 17, 2005 from Cedar Crest Care Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Mr. Mayfield was a manager of Church's Chicken in Tulsa and a member of Breakthrough Ministries there.
He was born in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, the son of Mary Marie Mayfield. He attended school in Fort Gibson, later, Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma and ultimately Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
He leaves to lament his passing; his wife, Sadie, of the home in Tulsa, Oklahoma; his son, Darrell Lamont Mayfield, of Tulsa; his daughter, Syzyline Diana Dada, Tulsa; a brother, Elmer Mayfield, Muskogee, Oklahoma; and a sister, Patricia Marshall, Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The final hour for Mr. Mayfield will be on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Beebe Memorial CME Church, 700 South 7th in Muskogee. The Pastor, Reverend Fedro Givens will officiate and his Pastor, Pastor Charlie Smith of Breakthrough Ministries will be the Eulogist. The Christian Committal will follow in the Four Mile Branch Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
