On September 3, 1933 a beautiful baby girl was born to James and Josie Richardson of Coweta, OK. She was named Bertha (Bootsy) Richardson.  She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1953. Bertha joined the Church of Christ at an early age.

Bertha started her career working at the Oil Refinery, the McClellan building for a number of years. Later she continued to work for the City of Okmulgee as a Secretary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lula Mae LittleJohn, Alice Young, and brother James Richardson Jr.

Mrs. Richardson leaves those to cherish her memory; one son Ronald Richardson (Houston, TX), numerous amount of aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

You may visit Mrs. Richardson as she slumbers Friday, August 31, 2018 between the hours of 1-6PM at our Okmulgee Chapel.  Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11AM Third Street Church of Christ 801 E. 3rd Street Okmulgee, Oklahoma 74447.
