Obituary

Betty Mae Bell, in her 63rd year, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Monday evening, Dec. 1, 2009 in Muskogee.

She was born in Redland, OK on Dec. 18, 1945, the daughter of Ocie Relebord and Lavera Bell. At a very young age, she moved to Muskogee, where she grew up and attended school, ultimately graduating from Historic Manual Training High School with the Class of 1964.


During her lifetime, she worked for Swift Poultry for over 22 years and later, worked for Superior Linen Service before retirement. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Betty was preceded in death by her parents,a sister and a brother.


She leaves "Loving Footprints" in the hands of her children; Gwendolyn Bell, Tyrone [Angie] Bell, Muskogee, OK, Glen [Brenda] Bell, Las Vegas, NV, and Michelle [Damon] Mizell, Dallas, TX; two sisters, Ella Mae Coleman and Mary Bell Mayhue; 13 grandchildren, Renaldo, Brittney, Reon, Tracy, Ashley, Stacy, Jaela, Bryson, Glenn Jr., Jayden, Jordan, Jaslynn and Iesha; 5 great-grandchildren, Reon Jr., Airena, Renaldo Jr., Deshawn, and Honesty; along with a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


We will share our final goodbye's on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Greater Rayfield Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Walker, Sr., the gracious Host Pastor, Officiating and Rev. Ron Venters, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery at Haynes, OK.


You may visit Mrs. Bell, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon to 7 PM.
