On April 19, 1943, Betty Louise McDaniel was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma from the parentage of Dennis and Daisy McDaniel. There were also two brothers in this family, Dennis and Dwight.
Betty attended Muskogee Public Schools from elementary through completion at Manual Training High School.
She was raised in a Jehovah's Witness household, where she was taught the principles to live by.
In 1961, she married Eugene Osborn. This marriage was later dissolved. She was the mother of four children, Nora Jean, Howard, Terry Lynn and Adam Osborn. Betty loved her children and she will be missed greatly.
Betty suffered a series of strokes, which confined her to a nursing home since 1993. She passed away on January 27, 2010 from Muskogee Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Remaining to lament her death; her four children, Nora Robinson, Howard Osborn, Terry Osborn and Adam Osborn, all of Muskogee, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, LaChelle, LaToya, Melissa, Adam Jr., Amaya, George and Marissa; six great-grandchildren; two uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
It has been a long, hard road for Betty, but We, the family, entrust you to the memory of Jehova and there is no safer place to be, for He will call and the dead will answer.
The final hour with Betty Osborn will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Remembrance of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc, of Muskogee. Brother James Thompson, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery at Summit, Oklahoma. You may visit Mrs. Osborn at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
