Obituary

Doctor Timothy L. Miller was born in Muncie, IN to Mary Winfield and the late Melvin Turner on March 9, 1968. He was the oldest of four children with his mother and the baby boy on his father's side,  Timothy was adopted by his grandparents whom he referred to as his mother and father. As a child, Timothy was by his grandmother's side attending Church as he deeply loved the Lord. He carried a heart of gold and those around him always made him smile. He coached basketball from the age of 18 and started pastoring a church around the age of 21 where he later became a Bishop. Nobody was a stranger to him, and he loved his family and friends endlessly.

Timothy loved all things music. This included singing, playing multiple instruments, and singing to the love of his life, Loryree. For 20 years their love thrived and they together raised three beautiful children, Natosha, KC , Lydia.  They all were raised to love the Lord as well. Bishop Timothy accepted the opportunity to coach in Texas and later made a home there for his family for about 16 years. He was an awesome husband, great father, and the best Coach. He always put God first in everything he did. When he coached basketball, he did it for God, hence, Thank God Basketball.  As a coach, before practice, he gathered his players and prayed before they stepped on the floor. Years later, Timothy and his wife Loryree moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and became Senior Bishop and Pastor of Redemption Life Tabernacle Church. Timothy and his wife enjoyed writing, singing and worshiping the Lord. This was true love. They loved God and one another endlessly.

Bishop Timothy Miller, in his 51st Season, transitioned to His Heavenly Reward on March 2, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Timothy was met with open arms by his loving grandparents, his father, aunt and brother, and the Lord saying "Well Done" and "Welcome home son."  He leaves behind his loving wife, Loryree, his son KC Ross-Miller, two daughters, NaTosha Kates, and Lydia Ross-Miller. He also leaves behind two small children whom they were raising, Draya, Jordan, his sister in law, Rosalind, his mother Mary Winfield of Cleveland, OH, sisters Tonya Porter, Rochelle (Isaac) Rabone, brothers, Dion Johnson (Melissa), Darnell Lark, James Miller, Fairchild Miller, Ira Miller, Roy Pinder, Aunt Mary Lou, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Church members, friends, former and present TG playes, Gods' Academy, US Elite, Team Texas, RLTC players, Coaches and his teams whom he loved….you were his family.
