Blanche Marie Fields

Blanche Marie Fields, lovingly known as “Mama Blanche,” was born on April 18, 1951, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Seaver Fields and Gracie (Roland) Fields. She was raised in Muskogee, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and quiet strength. Blanche peacefully transitioned on February 2, 2026.

Blanche was deeply loving and caring, with a gentle humor that could light up a room without demanding attention. She was quiet, thoughtful, sincere, and had a heart that held everyone she loved. Music was one of her joys, and she especially cherished the song “Sweet Love” by Anita Baker, which reflected the tenderness she carried through her life.

Her most treasured roles were those of daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, caregiver, aunt, and friend. Loving others came naturally to her, and she gave selflessly, always placing family at the center of her world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Seaver Fields and Gracie Fields; her daughter, Tina Fields-Jones; her son, Steven Joe Fields; her grandson, Monte’ Thomas; her brothers, Harvey Wesley Fields, Seaver Fields Jr., and Billy Ray Fields; and her sisters, Marjorie Nelson, Dorothy Hillary, and Sarah Bolding.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Cynthia Fields of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Trina Osborn (Adam) of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her sisters, Jeanette Brown of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Mary Ann Brown (John) of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; her brother, Raymond Fields of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Marlicia Campbell (Antoine) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brittney Fields of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Danell Dorsey (Alize) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Adam Osborn Jr. of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Amya Osborn of Muskogee, Oklahoma; five great-grandchildren; and a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Blanche will be remembered as a very loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose presence brought comfort, whose love ran deep, and whose legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Service of Memory for Sister Blanche will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Peoples Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee. Burial will follow the service in the Fields Cemetery, Porum, Oklahoma.
