On November 2, 1943, a baby boy was born to Rosie Bates and Eugene Titsworth. They named him Bobby Jewel TItsworth.
On September 11, 1972, he and his wife of 42 years, Mary Lynn Oates became one and through their union, two children were born; Bobby Jr., and Aundray lynn Titsworth.
Better known as "Po Tit" by those that loved him, he never met a stranger. He loved to go fishing, sell watermelons and traveling. His real passion was buying and selling cars.
His time with us on Earth came to a close on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Geneva, Emma, Willie, Mildred and Lonnie.
Those left to mourn him; his loving wife, Mary, of the home; his children, Bobby Jr., Aundray, Robert, Stephano and Rodney; his siblings, Faye, Betty, Mary Lou, Barbara, James and Roy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a special niece, Sparkle TItsworth and a nephews that he and Mary helped raise, James "Panky" Walker.
The Final Hour with "Po Tit" will be shared on Saturday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Remembrance. Reverend William Brown, Pastor of Fountain Baptist Church, will Officiate.
You may visit Mr. Titsworth, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until 6:00 PM.
