Brandon Scott McDonald was born on April 7, 1990 to Angela McDonald and Nicholas McDonald. He grew up in Muskogee, where he attended Muskogee Public Schools. He also attended St. John's High School in St. John, Kansas, before graduating from Muskogee with the Class of 2008.


Brandon married Britney Brown on August 8, 2008 and their union was blessed with a daughter, Hope Alixzandria McDonald. He served his country Honorably and was a member of the United States Air Force. Brandon passed from life to everlasting on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Germany.


He leaves to lament his death; his wife, Britney McDonald and daughter, Hope, both of Muskogee; his parents, Angela McDonald, Tulsa, OK and Nicholas and LaDona Garcia, St. John, KS; 4 sister and a brother, Brittany McDonald, Tulsa, Isabella Garcia, Kyra Garcia and Trinidad Garcia, St. John, KS; his grandparents, Sheila and Hubert Grimes, Eddie [Mac] McDonald and Beverly Smith McDonald, all of Muskogee; his best friend, Dylan Casey Muskogee; along with a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and others who love and miss Brandon.


The Tribute will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend Vanzelen G. Brown, Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will be on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., with Full Military Honors in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
