Brittnee Lytese Brinkley was born October 29, 1994, to her loving parents, James Anthony Brinkley
and Carmen Lytese Brinkley (Stewart). At the age of three, Brittnee was relocated to Sacramento,
California, where she was raised by her aunt, Lolita Brinkley-Nunn, and uncle, Anthony "Sean" Nunn,
who she affectionately called "Nanny" and "Uncle" and later, "Mom" and "Dad."
She attended Frontier Elementary/Charter School and Foothill High School in Sacramento, California. At the age of fourteen, Brittnee returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she attended Central High School, before moving back to California, where she graduated from Foothill High School, class of 2012. Her high school activities included but were not limited to varsity volleyball and basketball, and MESA (Mathematics, Engineering,
Science Achievement).
Early in life, Brittnee was found to be a very independent child. She taught herself to match her clothes and dress herself. She figured out the mystery of tying her own shoes and was very proud to show off her new skill. If you didn't have time to show her how to do something, she would figure it out herself. Like riding a bicycle in Toys-R-Us and crashing into the entire row of bicycles only to get up and announce, "I can do it" and try again! A few days later, Brittnee was seen riding her new bike in the backyard before anyone taught her! There are many other stories of Brittnee and her self-independence even into her adult years.
Brittnee was baptized in Jesus Name at Greater Grace Worship Center (GGWC) under the leadership of Bishop David C. Foster, Sr., in Sacramento, California. Brittnee served in the praise dance ministry and participated in various youth ministry events and fundraisers. Growing up at GGWC, Brittnee was known as someone willing to lend a helping hand where needed, even at times helping her dad open and close the church.
Shortly after graduating high school, Brittnee enlisted in the United States Army as a supply technician, but after completing basic training she decided to leave.
Brittnee returned to Sacramento where her daughter, Adriana Pruitt, was born. Soon after her birth, Brittnee moved back to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where her twins, Ava and Alia Pasley were born. Brittnee worked very hard supporting her family as a single mother. Brittnee worked various jobs, sometimes two jobs, to make sure her children were taken care of. Brittnee started a career working for the State of Oklahoma as a Medical Administrative Assistant and had recently been promoted.
Brittnee was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Brinkley (Stewart).
