Mr. Bryan Moses, in his 63rd Season, Transitioned to Eternal on July 10, 2021 in Waukegan, Illinois.
Bryan Eric Moses was born February 16, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Roy Lee Moses, Senior (Deceased) and Mildred Morris. He departed this life on July 10, 2021, in Waukegan, Illinois.
He was an award-winning swimmer at Booker T. Washington High School, coined the "Black Shark". Upon graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1976, he attended Langston University.
Bryan married ReShawn Ronda Felice Smith on June 9, 1979. From their union were born seven daughters: Tresa in 1979, and Sherita in 1980. Bryan joined the army in 1980. TaNesha was welcomed while they were stationed in Augusta, GA, in 1982. During his tour in Germany, NaToya was born in 1983. Bryan and his family returned home from Germany in 1984 impending the birth of their fifth daughter Taren. Brittney was born in 1986, and Brianna in 1988, were the last additions to the family.
Bryan loved music and sports. He was an avid Raiders and Lakers fan. After being inspired by Emeril Lagasse, he developed a love for cooking that helped maintain his health well passed the expectancy of his decease. He maintained a love for grilling from his father. He could often be seen on Riverside drive flying large kites, a hobby he enjoyed with his children and grandchildren. He made certain to pass his love and skills of swimming to his daughters.
His memory will be cherished by those he left behind: a wife, ReShawn Moses; his mother, Mildred Moses; his daughters, Tresa Moses, Sherita Goins (Necho Goins), TaNesha Moses, Natoya Norman (Mark Norman), Taren Payne (Jake Payne), Brittney Taylor, Brianna Moses; fifteen grandchildren; David Sinclair, Jr., Kennedy Rulinda, Alaya Taylor, Brenton Payne, Byron Moses, Olivia Bates-Moses, Kaden Taylor, Eddie Taylor, Taylor Payne, Taleya Payne, Sarah Goins, Lily Payne, Braxton Phillips, Jeremiah Goins, Malachi Sims; his siblings, Roy Moses Jr. (Debra), Linda Grey, Terri Moses; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Services for Mr. Moses will be held on July 22, 2021, at the Morning Star Baptist Church located at 1014 E. Pine Street Tulsa, OK. 74106 at 11:00 AM.
Burial will immediately follow the services at the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
You may visit Bryan as he slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the Tulsa Chapel.
