Obituary
Calif Skilar Fonville, age 14 and a student in Muskogee, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
He was born in Pineville, Louisiana and a 9th grade student in Muskogee Schools.
Calif attended First Baptist Church, where he was active in the Youth Group. He also played the guitar, keyboards, enjoyed, riding dirt bikes, skateboarding, wrestling and fishing. He truly lived life to the fullest.
He leaves to lament his death; his grandmother, Jackie Alfredson, who raised him; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of good friends.
We will say our goodbyes to Calif on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 2:30 in the First Baptist Church. Dr. Lance Sawyer, the gracious host Pastor, and Pastor Eric Fletcher, will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Citizens Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
Casket bearers will be Bill Bockius, Barry Boren, Eric Fletcher, Chris Jackson, Pete Jones and John Eaton. Honorary bearers will be his friends, Kerry Scott, Nick Myre and Neville Lester.
Friends may visit Calif, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
