Carl Aeson Joseph was born August 31, 1951 to Aeson and Isabel Joseph. He grew up in Oklahoma City, and later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he graduated from Central High School.

"Here's to a man who fills his home with feelings proud, and glad....Here's to a man, a family man, the good man we call dad!"

In 1973, Carl united in marriage to Bonnie Johnson. To this union 5 children were born. This marriage later dissolved. He later married Annette Brown. This union produced one child. Carl was employed at the Ford Glass Plant for numerous years. He was also employed at Brand Export Packing, where his trade was a carpenter, until his health began to fail. Mr. Joseph had a passion for working on cars and helping others in any way he could. Carl accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, and was baptized at the First Baptist Church where he was a member for many years.

"He said the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed Carl's eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine." The weary hours, the days of pain, the sleepless nights are past, the ever patient worn out frame has found sweet rest at last."

On April 25, 2012, Mr. Carl Joseph went from Labour to Refreshment. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first child who passed at birth, one brother, Ernest Joseph, and two sisters: Doreatha Robinson and Doris Harmon. Remaining to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Annette Joseph of the home, three daughters: Catina Boyd (Derosa), Stevon Joseph, Karla-Ann Joseph, two sons: Tavourous Joseph, and Carl Trazell Joseph (Stassa), three step-children raised in the home: Alfred Brown, Rahim Taylor, and Tashiya Lewis, six grandsons, eight granddaughters, all of Tulsa, OK., five sisters: Cathy Peoples (Levelle), Evans, GA., Janice Joseph, Tulsa, OK., Cynthia Simon, Lancaster, TX., Sherry Williams (Michael, Gwendolyn Joseph, one brother, Patrick Joseph, Oklahoma City, OK., five aunts: Anna Ponds, Wagoner, OK., Rebecca Stephens, Spencer, OK., Teresa Ry, Ruth Pullen, both of Oklahoma City, OK., and Marie Johnson, Oakland, CA., one uncle, Vernon Joseph (Ruth Ann), San Fransisco, CA., along with a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Services are Monday April 30, 2012 at 11AM at New Joy Fellowship Ministry at 14017 E. 11th Street. Friends may visit Mr. Joseph on Sunday from 3PM to 5PM.
