Obituary
In the winter of 1927, Charles Crittendon Napier and Margaret Mae [Van Brunt] Napier were blessed with the 8th of 11 children in their family on December 29th. This son was named Carl Robert Napier in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
The family moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma in the early 1930's and once Carl reached school age, he attended Mountain View School until the 8th grade. He worked alongside his family tending to the family farm until he left home in December of 1945 to join the Army Air Force.
After he enlisted, Carl was a radio operator on a B-29 and was stationed in Japan during occupation after World War II. He served his country honorably for seven years prior to his honorable discharge.
After his service to his country, he worked for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, California, installing and testing radar equipment on bombers. Mr. Napier returned to the westside of Muskogee, where he settled on his parents farmland in 1968. Upon his return, he opened NAPCO Machine Shop in 1973 and built airplane parts for military and civilian aviation. Later, he transitioned the business to NAPCO Automotive Sales and Service in 1994.
Carl married Dorine Violet "Lucky" Christenelli. Their union was blessed with two children. This union was later dissolved and he was remarried to Rachael Mae Beaird. Their union was blessed with five children.
On January 26, 2018, Carl Robert Napier, in his 90th year of life, was beckoned by the Lord to eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his siblings and a daughter Linda Sue.
He leaves in God's care; his children, Eugene Charles Napier, Mylinda Renee, Patricia Ann, Lisa Marie, Johanna Lynn and David Neil; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a caravan of other relatives, friends, and customers who will miss his presence on Earth.
A Memorial Ceremony, honoring his life will be celebrated on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Mountain View Baptist Church. Pastor Jeff Ward will officiate.
