Obituary

Mrs. Carlisha Michelle B'Cal Adebiyi, after 32 years, left this life on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from Olathe, Kansas.

On June 24, 1988, a bright star was born to Mr. Carlos and Angel Keys in Muskogee, OK. They called her Carlisha Michelle B'Cal Keys.

She attended Muskogee Public Schools and graduated from Muskogee High School in 2006. Carlisha went on to attend and graduate from Connors State College in 2009 with an Associate's degree in General Education. Furthermore, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education from Northeastern State University in 2010. After teaching for 3 years, Carlisha decided to venture into the insurance sector, which led to her most recent employment at Chubb Insurance Company in Olathe, Kansas.

Carlisha was a shining light to all she encountered. Her friendships spanned over many years and several states. She enjoyed representing the OU Sooners whenever she could, and just loved life in general, whether it was gathering with family or convening with friends – Carlisha was always the life of the party. This infectious personality led to Carlisha meeting her husband, Adeniyi, which led to their marriage in 2016.

Two of Carlisha's most beautiful creations were her two children, Malcom "Max" Langston, born in 2005, and Zoe "Zoe Bug" Elaine, born in 2010. From the time they were born, Carlisha instilled into her children to respect and love others and themselves. As they grew, she kept them active in academics and sports.

On June 5, 2021, Carlisha entered the gates of Heaven. She is preceded in death by grandparents Isiah E. Keys, Sr., Betty C. Johnson-Keys, and Donnie Sanders. Uncles Ike Keys and Donnie Keys. Sister Kimberly Hopkins and Cousin Sade Tarver.

Carlisha is survived by loving grandmother Joyce E. Clemons Sanders of Muskogee, OK, and grandfather Alfonso B. Smith of Haskell, OK. Husband Adeniyi and children Malcolm and Zoe, all of Olathe, KS. Parents Angel Keys and Carlos Keys of Muskogee, OK. Brother Brandon Johnson and Sister-In-Law Brandi of Broken Arrow, OK. Brother Carlos Keys Jr. and Sister-In-Law Baylee of Olathe, KS. Brother Keenan Hopkins and Sister Kawaun Hopkins, both of Tulsa, OK, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The Time to Reflect for her will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 701 Altamont in Muskogee, with Reverend Rooshawn Pratt, Pastor, Officiating.

Burial will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 in the Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
