On August 29, 1958 Tulsa was blessed with the birth of Carmen "Joyce" Palmer. She was born to Robert and Euradean Palmer and was one of four children.

Joyce was known for her exuberant personality. She can be remembered for her extraordinary storytelling abilities. She had an amazing ability to recall a memory and express it with such animation and zeal you felt you were in the moment with her.

Joyce was the center of attention with her light hearted jokes and attention grabbing smile. She cared deeply for her family and friends and continued to love and pour into their lives until her last day.

Proceeding Joyce in death are her parents, Robert and Euradean Palmer; and siblings, Robert Dean and H. Clay Edmond (Robert Earl).
Family who will continue cherishing her memories are daughter, Aneshia Palmer (Memphis, TN); sister, Carla Holmes; brother-in-law, John Holmes; nieces, Cammilia, Cassidy and Madison Holmes.

Ms. Carmen "Joyce" Palmer Goudeau went to Rest in the early Sunday morning hours of September 25, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Her services will be Saturday at Family Outreach Ministries located at 4663 North Martin Luther King Blvd in Tulsa.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.

Friends may visit Joyce as she peacefully rests in the Tulsa Chapel on Friday from 1PM until 7PM
