Carolyn Rose Walker was born to James D. and Ruby O. Walker on August 31, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Growing up in Compton, CA, she met and married Huey Lynn, Sr.  Of their union, three children were born; Huey Lynn Jr., Trina Jones and Tyrone Lynn.  Carolyn trained and worked in the nursing profession for years.  She was an entrepreneur, starting and running two successful businesses, Loving Care Home Health, Inc. and Professional Negotiators.  Eventually, she went into full-time ministry establishing, I Came to Set the Captive Free, Jesus Ministries.  Carolyn travelled and held prophetic services throughout the world as well as hosting radio shows.  She was a woman of prayer that touched many lives with her gifts.

On April 19, 2018, Carolyn transitioned to the arms of her Father, Jesus Christ.  She was preceded in death by her Father - James Walker, Mother - Ruby Walker, Brothers - Jimmy & Michael Walker and Daughter-in-Law – LaVisa Lynn.  Her legacy continues through her Children – Huey Lynn, Jr, Trina (Dwayne) Jones and Tyrone (Ronda) Lynn; Sister Ophelia Barnett, Spiritual Daughter – Anne Welch, Grandchildren – Huey III, Shoshanna, Benaiah, Josiah, Christina, Trinity, John, Caleb, Elaine (Chuy), Nichole, Joshua, Johnathan, Nathaniel, Salina, Phillip, Gabriel, Jarrett and Tyrone Jr , nine Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.


Services for Ms. Walker will commence on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at the Tenth Hour in our All Faiths Chapel 1414 N. Norfolk Ave. Tulsa, OK. 74106.  You may visit Ms. Walker as she slumbers between the hours of 2PM-7PM Wednesday, April 25th, 2018.
