Obituary

It all began in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when a beautiful, baby girl was born from the union of Mattie Ware and Larry Harding. She was given the name Carrie Denise. Like a melody from Heaven, she was born with a song in her heart. From the very beginning of her life, she walked aroung the house singing all the time.

At the tender age of eleven, she dedicated her life to Christ under the Pastoral guidance and leadership of the late Reverend E. E. Holley at Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Realizing how important her personal relationship with Christ was, she continued there under Reverend James L. Brewer and upon moving to the Dallas area in 2002, she united with the Greater Sweet Home Baptist Church of Fort Worth, under the leadership of Reverend Danny Kirk, Sr.

Carrie spent her formative years in Tulsa, where she was educated in the Tulsa Public Schools, graduating from the Acclaimed Booker T. Washington High School with the Prestigious Class of 1994.

After completing high school, Carrie entered the workforce, gaining employment as a travel agent with the Avis Corporation. When she moved to the Dallas Metroplex Area, she joined Travelocity, where she remained until her transition to Glory.

Affectionately referred to as "Ms. Chocolate", "Care Bear" and even "Mary J", Carrie was a beautiful mother to her two children. Her radiant daughter, Keara and handsome son, Kyron will keep her alive through her influence in their lives, if only for a short while.

Because HE only takes the best, after 33 seasons, Carrie Denise Ware traveled "that Highway called Holiness" after being summoned by the Master. In Carrie's eyes, everyone was special, and in the Lord's eyes, everyone is special.

Those that remain to lament her passing; her beautiful children, Keara and Kyron, of the home in Arlington, Texas; her mother, Mattie Johnson and father, Clifford Ware, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four sisters, LaFrancis, Andrea "Luv" and Joy, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma and last but certainly not least, her best friend and sister, Bridgett Drew, Arlington, Texas; a brother, Larry Harding, Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with a caravan of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
