Cassandra Clark Oliver-Pettyjohn, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on May 8, 1950, to Lucille Johnson and Roscoe Lee Clark Sr., Cassandra lived a life defined by strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Johnson; her father, Roscoe Lee Clark Sr.; her brother, Roscoe Lee Clark Jr.; her sisters, Frances Triggs and Helen Hutton; and her beloved daughter, Henrietta Clark.
Cassandra was the devoted wife of Joey Pettyjohn. She leaves behind her loving children, Fred Clark, Roy Clark, and Rochelle Oliver-Adkins, who continue to carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and family unity.
A proud and deeply loving grandmother, Cassandra treasured each of her grandchildren: Chelsea Clark (daughter of Fred); Jordan Clark and Jayden Clark (children of Roy); DeAndre Clark and Giovanni Clark (sons of the late Henrietta); and DaMonte’ Oliver and Dominique Adkins (sons of Rochelle). Cassandra’s legacy continues through the next generation, as several of her grandchildren have been blessed with children of their own.

In addition to her immediate family, Cassandra leaves behind a host of in-laws, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, extended relatives, and dear friends, all of whom she loved and welcomed as her own. Her love extended far beyond bloodlines, embracing all who became family through love, laughter, and shared life.
Cassandra found great joy in cooking and gardening - simple pleasures that brought comfort and happiness to her home and to those she loved. She was also an accomplished businesswoman who successfully operated home health and cleaning services, reflecting her natural calling to care for others both personally and professionally.
