Mr. Cavroll Hickmon, better known to family and friends as "Cal"...the Watermelon man, has crossed from Earth to Everlasting, as of Wednesday morning, February 22, 2012.

Cal has lived in Okmulgee the past 16 years, moving from Tulsa, where he was employed by McDonnell-Douglas for 28 years, and Tulsa Public Schools for 10 years.

He was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Okmulgee, where he served the Lord faithfully as a Deacon of the Church.

He was born in Coweta, Oklahoma, the son of Milton and Eva [McDonald] Hickmon in the Jackson Grove community.

He leaves behind; a loving wife, Brenda; his children, Cavron Jr., Bridgette and Brandy & Martin, Rodney and Michael; his siblings, Anita Gix and Richard Hickmon; and 3 grandchildren; along with a caravan of other relatives and many friends.

The Celebratory Tribute will commence on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mount Zion Baptist Church of Okmulgee. His Pastor, Reverend David Burks will officiate.

Burial with Military Honors will be on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12 noon.
