Charles Earl Horton, Jr., was born to Charles Horton, Sr., and Arie (Nelson) Horton on November 9, 1936, in Harris, Oklahoma. He accepted the Lord early in life and strived to live accordingly. After eight years serving in the United States Marine Corps, he settled in Wichita, Kansas. He met and married Lillian Hammock on July 16, 1960. After starting a family, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1976. He worked hard and started Horton Trucking which he owned and operated and drove 100,000 miles without an accident or a ticket!

He is survived by: two siblings, Dianne Horton Foxx and Stephen Horton; five children, Gregory, Vicky, Monica, Valton, and Donelda; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other loved ones.

Services for Mr. Charles Horton, Jr. will be Friday July 29, 2022 at 11AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.

Public Visitation will be Thursday from 1PM to 6PM in Tulsa.
