Mr. Charles Olester Shaw, after 48 seasons, passed from life to everlasting on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from Muskogee.
Better known as "Charlie" to family and friends, he was born in Tulare, California on January 5, 1961, the son of Earl Olester Shaw and Velma Nadine Hanks-Cathey.
He grew up and attended school in Tulare City School system. He later attended school and became a Diesel Mechanic. Charlie had a great sense of humor and loved model cars. He will be missed by his his family and friends, from Oklahoma, Arkansas, California, and other places.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joe Albert Cathey, a sister, Betty Joe Cathey and a brother, Bobby Lee Hanks.
He leaves to reflect and remember; his son, Brian Shaw; his daughter, Naomi Rebolo, Mountain Home, Arkansas; his siblings, Kathyrn Nadie Cathey-Jeffries, of Muskogee, John W. Cathey [Margaret], Tulare, CA, Nancy M. Cathey-Tenhet, Visalia, CA, Albert Perry Cathey [Joyce], Oregon, Randolph Leverett Cathey [Betty], Tulare, CA, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
