On February 1, 1941, a handsome, baby boy was born to Junior Lee and Lessie B. [Holmes] Dansberry in Memphis, Tennessee. They named him Charlie B. Dansberry and he was the fourth of fifteen children.
At an early age, Charlie and his family moved to Redbird, Oklahoma, where he attended Miller Washington School. Charlie joined First Baptist Church, under Pastor O. D. Parker in Redbird, Oklahoma.
Being the oldest boy, Charlie played a very important role in his family's life. Charlie started his employment with Keck Construction, as a machine operator and trainer for 20 plus years. He became a member of the international union of operating engineers in December of 1978 and continued his membership until his death.
Charlie was a true man of God, with a heart of gold. He loved to sing, work on cars and had a passion for gardening. Charlie loved to joke and poke fun at his friends and loved ones.
On January 24, 2019, Mr. Charlie B. Dansberry, in his 77th year of life, God sent his Angels to carry him home to Heaven.
