Charlie Trulove was born the Alpha child in a family of six children, born from the union of James and Mammie [Garrett] Trulove on April 16, 1921 in Boley, Oklahoma.

Charlie attended Boley public schools, graduating with the Bears class of 1941. Mr. Trulove united in Holy matrimony to Rosa Nell McDonald on November 24, 1941. No children were born from this union, unless you called Truloves Hamburger Shoppe "a child!"

Mr. Trulove was a strong willed, determined man with attitude. He was a longtime, tithing member of Ward Chapel AME Church and was active in other roles at the church as well during his lifetime.

In his 97th year with us, Charlie Trulove made his transition from "Earth to Everlasting" on Friday, January 18, 2019 from Moore, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and three brothers; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service for Mr. Trulove will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Amos Temple CME Church of Boley.  Reverend Homer Williams, Pastor of Ward Chapel AME Church will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Boley.
