Cheryl Denise Barnett was born September 21, 1964, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Cleo White and Paul Barnett, Sr.

Cheryl received her education at Alice Robertson Middle School and Muskogee High School. Cheryl worked in the healthcare field as a certified nursing assistant. She later joined Muskogee Public Schools working in the food service department.

Cheryl was such a joy to be around laughing and loving all that came around her. She loved to cook for her family and organized all family events.

Cheryl was called home on February 28, 2023, to be with her Heavenly Father.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Paul Barnett, Sr.; stepdad, David White, Sr.; and best friend, Debra Owens.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother, Cleo White of Muskogee, OK; five children, Michael "Chris" Barnett of Tulsa, OK, Echo Barnett of Kansas City, KS, Aaron Barnett of Hulbert, OK, and Ferdinand "Miles" Barnett and Bianca Barnett-Jackson, both of Muskogee, OK; seven siblings, Paul Barnett, Marty Barnett, Gayle Barnett, and Kimberly Davison (Chris), all of Muskogee, OK, Eyvette Brown of Atlanta, GA, Shawn White of Vinita, OK, and Marylin White of McKinney, TX; seventeen beautiful grandbabies; one great- grandbaby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

The Sacred Farewell for Ms. Barnett will commence on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Eleventh Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Boulevard Christian Church in Muskogee.

You may visit Cheryl, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Muskogee on Friday, between the hours of 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee.
